The Medical Assistant supports patient care by taking medical histories, accurately capturing and documenting patient vital signs, requesting and updating patient medical records, filing communicating with patients, and providing documentation for patients or members of the healthcare team while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. The Part Time diagnostic medical Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients in the Pediatric Cardiac office setting. The diagnostic medical Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pediatric cardiac patients.
