The Scheduler I position schedules patient appointments, procedures, diagnostic therapy and other treatments. Provides support to the patients, families and physicians as it relates to scheduling of procedures. Ensures that all physician orders are received.
The Medical Scribe assists physicians throughout their shift by performing clerical and information technology functions for the physician in a clinical setting. Primary responsibilities include the population of electronic health records, operation of electronic dictation systems to facilitate the flow of clinical documentation, and assisting with the gathering of information before and after a patient’s clinic visit or other care. The primary goal of a Medical Scribe is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the physician they are working for.
